My little Cassidy is now 5.

Today is Cassidy's birthday! We are so glad that she is in our family. She has blessed our lives since day one. She is very kind and giving. Just this morning while she was eating breakfast she came in my room just to tell me that she loves me. She is quick to forgive me and her siblings. She also has an amazing memory. She can remember every place we have gone or everything I have told her.
She started out with us when Curtis and I both were going to school. She has now seen both of her parents graduate from College. Cassidy has made front cover of the Anchorage Daily News. She was quite the star putting up with a mommy that was going to school, playing volleyball and trying to raise her.

She has had a few cuts and bruises on the way to being the big 5 years old.
She has put up with us when we tried to be a no car family living in Juneau and this trailer was our means of commuting. Anytime we needed to go somewhere the trailer is where it was at. Grocery shopping was always really fun. All the food was sampled on the way home. In her 5 years of life she has moved with us 6 times.
She has always loved books and to sing.


She is a great big sister. She was able to be present when Catheryn was born and even wrote out a card that said "Happy Birthday Catheryn" while I was in labor. We weren't sure what we were having boy or girl and what name. So Cassidy made the choice for us before Catheryn was even born. I love Cassidy so much. There is a lot to be said about your first child. There is a lot of learning and mistakes. I am so grateful for the little lady she is becoming. I couldn't imagine my life with out her. I love you Miss Cassidy.
