Time with Grandma Chica

Grandma Chica went camping with us a few weekends ago. It was good to have her come along. The kids enjoyed time with Grandma, and she enjoyed herself as well. Here she is with her grandkids.

We spent time sitting in the sun on the banks of the Matanuska River. She brought her dog Chica with her too.

Here is a rare moment when Catheryn is sitting down. Notice her dirty hands. The kids had fun playing in the silt created by the large river of ice known as the Matanuska Glacier.

Here I am with my 'sister' Chica and my mother. We are both smart to wear sun protection to keep our face young and unwrinkled. It is debatable who is wearing the best looking hat. Canyon is in a pack on my back. You can see her right leg clothed in red.
