This is how Carolyn would spend her days. She would wrap herself in a blankett and sit next to the electric heater.
Then we had the boiler serviced. This particular model is the original one since this house was built, so it is 27 years old. After replacing the expansion tank, automatic fill valve, pressure release valve, and cleaning the burners, it actually keeps our house warm. So for all of you out there sitting by your electric heaters wrapped in blanketts, consider having your boiler serviced.
