I have set up a hiking group and this week we hiked Baldy. It is by my parents house. Curtis was off for the day and joined us. Cassidy went to my parents cabin with them. So it was Curtis, me, Cayden and Catheryn and the friends in the hiking group. We ended up hiking alittle ahead and saw that everyone else had turned around. We asked Cayden if he wanted to continue or keep going. He wanted to keep going and did a great job. It is quite a steep hike and he kept on trucking away. We made it to the top and took the back way down. I only carried him at a part were there were a lot of loose rocks. So in the end our little Cayden hiked a good 3 miles, about 1.3 miles up hill. We were very proud of him. Curits is really excited that we can do real hikes now.
To bad for the rest of the day Cayden was exhausted and we were suppose to go camping that night but we could not get him to move.
So we had a lot of fun and wish we would have had a camera to take pictures of Caydens first mountain climb.
